Prospect Institute, LLC is a Private Practice that provides Individual and Family Therapy to teens and adults. Prospect Institute LLC firmly believes that every individual has the ability to overcome obstacles. Our ultimate goal is to emphasis our core values that implement Freedom, Growth and Independence to all clients.
Having access to a mental health provider can seem like a daunting task. It is my hope that we can ease the anxiety of you sharing your journey with us.
Sheena Cooper is a South Florida native and a licensed Therapist. She attended the University of South Florida and graduated from Barry University with her Masters in 2010. She is an Army Veteran who served a 13 month tour in Taji, Iraq and traveled the World serving her country including Marcala, Honduras. Her experience in the Military and as a licensed Trauma Social Worker has allowed her to view life through different lenses.
Sheena has experience in different modalities that range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Solution Focused Therapy with both children and adults. Ms. Cooper is also a Certified Anger Management Specialist and was voted onto the Social Work Advisory Board at Florida Memorial University in 2018.

How long are the sessions?
Each session ranges from 30 minutes to a hour and a half.
How do I pay for my session?
Payment for each session is discussed privately with each client.
